A Young Couples Group Designed for Today’s Families
Between the demands of work, raising children, and limited free time, it's difficult for young parents to find community within the parish, especially as many feel caught between being too old for Young Adult groups and too young for other established ministries.
Fiat Families is specifically for married couples with young children, with the goal of building authentic relationships within the parish and deepening engagement with church life.
What makes this group different is its structure and intentionality:- Two Gatherings Per Month
For the 2026-2027 school year, we're trying a new format.
Each gathering takes place from 6-8pm, and will start with a potluck dinner.
The whole family is welcome: wives, husbands, and kids. After dinner, either the men or women will break off to do a session of prayer and/or deeper engagement with each other, while those who remain continue to be present to the kids.
Generally speaking, we're scheduled for the First Monday and Fourth Thursday of the month but this is subject to change, so please reach out via the email below to confirm!!- Gender-Specific Nights
Men and women connect and grow in different ways, especially when it comes to sharing our prayer lives. These separate nights allow each spouse to form real intimate friendships and engage in deeper spiritual conversation in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.- Community First, Faith Always
Each evening begins and ends in prayer, but the focus is on building trust, friendship, and mutual support by creating a strong sense of community amongst parish families.
