The Legion of Mary is a worldwide Catholic lay organization that was started in Dublin, Ireland by Frank Duff in 1921. Today the Legion of Mary has spread to almost every diocese in the world. It is based on devotion to the Holy Mother of God.
Active members attend a weekly meeting and they do two hours of apostolic work each week, approved by the pastor.
Auxiliary members pray the Rosary and the prayers in the Legion of Mary prayer card each day for Our Blessed Mother’s intentions.
The Legion of Mary gives us an opportunity to grow in holiness, to fulfill our call to spread the Gospel and to balance our prayer life with good works.
The Legion meets each Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the Pope John Paul II Room in the Church.
You can come to a meeting anytime and see what it is all about.
